This Camberwell apartment refurbishment reimagines the arrival into the home.
What was once a standard, overlooked corridor is transformed into a calm, timber‑clad threshold with flush doors, integrated storage, indirect lighting and carefully concealed details. The space now works harder and feels warmer, offering a small seating area, mirrored surfaces and seamless joinery that sets the tone for the apartment beyond.
The kitchen was redesigned to improve flow and functionality, while a new study was created directly off the corridor. Screened with frosted glass, the study borrows light from surrounding spaces, transforming a previously windowless area into a bright, practical workspace.
Alongside the design, we guided the project through the necessary Licence to Alter process and Building Control approval, ensuring a smooth route from concept to completion.
The result is a quietly refined home where thoughtful design unlocks hidden potential, proving that even the most everyday spaces can become something special.
